“One Day at a Time: Our Coronavirus Response”

An educational animation about Covid-19 that I conceptualized, wrote, and animated between April and July 2020 with help from my co-animator Robin Cogdell and my team at Ci3. The animation is directed at youth of color who are often missed by mainstream media. It was funded by the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science and Innovation at the University of Chicago.

Creating an animation on a breaking news issue was uniquely challenging and rewarding with both philosophical and technical hurdles to surmount. We tried to make a unique informational video that was emblematic of Ci3’s commitment to empowering young people.
